If you’re on a 491 visa and working in finance, you don’t have to give up career options just because you’re outside Sydney or Melbourne. These regional cities for finance jobs in Australia all carry genuine, ongoing demand.

3. Gold Coast

5. Geelong

Why regional finance jobs are worth a serious look
Regional cities won’t always match Sydney or Melbourne on raw job volume, but they often have less competition per role and a cost of living that stretches further. For a 491 visa holder, that combination, plus regional points, can make a real difference.
